Tranquil Grove at Rotary Park

A small, licensed residential care home in Blue Springs, Missouri.

Tranquil Grove at Rotary Park is a small residential care home at 500 NW Vesper St in Blue Springs, Missouri, directly adjacent to Rotary Park — the sidewalk from our back patio connects straight to the park’s walking track. We are licensed by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services as a Residential Care Facility, and we are genuinely small: 21 private rooms in a single-story home purpose-built for residential care, not a wing of a large campus.

Every resident has a private bedroom, three home-style meals a day, and caregivers on-site around the clock. The finish is warm and residential rather than institutional, and it’s a professional care home — purpose-built and professionally run, small by design rather than by accident. That’s the only way to truly know each resident, and it’s the difference families feel the moment they walk in. Below is everything you’d normally have to call and pry out of a community — our license, our size, our staffing, and our full pricing — in plain sight.

The facts, in plain sight

The Tranquil Grove at Rotary Park residential care home in Blue Springs, Missouri

A small care home since 1986

This home has been a small residential care home for nearly forty years. It opened in 1986 as the Waterford Ladies Home, owned and operated by the Pearson family — a small home caring for a handful of residents like family, built for exactly that.

In 2025, the Valarus family purchased the home and relaunched it under the Tranquil Grove brand, welcoming gentlemen as well as ladies, refreshing the finishes, and carrying forward exactly what made it special. New name, same small, family-run care home it has been since 1986.

Simple, all-inclusive pricing

Every resident has a private room and receives our full care. Your monthly price comes down to just two things — the room size you choose and your care needs — both flat, published, and reviewed each quarter. No itemized charges, and no move-in or entrance fees.

Higher care needs

$600 / month

Basic care — included with every room — already covers most personal and everyday hands-on care. Some residents' needs call for a higher level of daily support. For them, the care rate is a single flat rate, set by a quarterly care assessment — never itemized, never variable.

A resident meets the higher rate when two or more of the following apply:

  • Scheduled toileting or incontinence care two or more times a day
  • Physical assistance with transfers
  • Oxygen management or nebulizer treatments
  • Frequent use of the call system — two or more times a night, or five or more times a day
  • Escort or cueing to meals or activities
  • Bathing or medication resistance that requires repeated attempts
  • Sundowning that requires frequent redirection
  • Repetitive questioning or anxiety that requires frequent reassurance

Your monthly total is one flat number: your room, plus a flat $600 only when a resident's assessed needs call for a higher level of daily support. No move-in fees, no entrance fees, and no vague, ever-changing "levels of care."
